Mount Carmel – The Mount Carmel Area Food Pantry is so grateful to UNB Bank for their very generous donation of $250. As you know, the pantry, sponsored by the Mount Carmel Area Ministerium, has been fighting hunger for 25 years. The need in the Mount Carmel area is very real, and the Bank’s effort will help ease concerns experienced by many families.
At one of our most recent distributions, 64 families visited the pantry for food donations. It would be impossible for us to serve these folks-our friends and neighbors-without the support of caring people like our friends at UNB Bank. Thank you, on behalf of the Mount Carmel Area Ministerium, our volunteers and our clients, for your contribution.
